The International Asian Radio Awards™ 2007-08 , ceremony is one of the most visible activities of the British Asian Film Academy. , The awards acknowledge radio programs, which are based on Asian theme , and rewards and promotes various artists’ endeavours and excellences.

British Asian Film Academy, also honours other individuals with awards in recognition of their contribution to the radio industry. These awards are approved by the Academy's Radio Awards Committee, which is made up of various veterans and high achievers in media, entertainment and broadcasting industry.

Primarily The International Asian Radio Awards™ 2007-08, consider every eligible radio program for nomination, which are based on Asian theme.

Secondly the radio program must be in English language or with the English translation.

The date of production of the radio program should be between 1st Jan, 2007-08 and 31st Dec, 2007-08. The radio program could be a production from anywhere in the world and not necessarily Asia as long as it is based on Asian theme and is in English or with English translation.

The International Asian Radio Awards™ 2007-08, consider every eligible radio program for nomination across the globe as long as the radio program is based on an Asian theme. The program could be from anywhere in the world and not necessarily from Asia or a program by an Asian. , The program must be in English or with English translation.

The copy of the radio program presented with the nomination must be on DVD or audio tapes and you are required to attach a copy of the filled nomination form with any other material that will help your nomination.

A Middle-East business man has confirmed to fund all entry fees of nominations for The International Asian Radio Awards. Hence all entries will be charged a token fee of 10.00 pounds only per nomination. Any nominations fees that have been paid will be refunded accordingly

With this good news we have extended the deadline date for the nominations till the 29th June 2008.

Nominations from all over the world are in and the origin of the nominations can be seen on the winners’ reflected by the country’s flag.

Return of material, presented with nominations requires a postage cost of £10.00 pounds sterling to be paid by the nominee or the organization that the nominee works for.

Judges decision , is final; however the nominee can request a hard copy of the deliberation at a cost of £10.00 pounds sterling to cover postage costs.
